I’M FALLING NOW

Grasp

Grasp (Photo credit: teddy-rised)

I’m falling now

I’m falling unafraid

Grasping at sacred words

That make no sound

They tumble out

A liquid kaleidoscope

Oozing through my fingers

Colors arranging,  composing

Into a siren song

But all I can manage

Is dizzy laughter

Children spinning round

On summer grass

Chasing lighting bugs

My foolishness amuses you

But one drunken night

You’ll impale your self

On my happiness

And beg for more

I’m falling now

I’m falling unafraid

Grasping at sacred words

That make no sound.
